We are definitely going through challenging times, myself included.
For the past four months, I have been dedicating all of my time preparing for the Green Living Show and the Buy Good Feel Good Expo. Since both trade shows were cancelled due to COVID-19, I decided to redo my Vision Board, which I had neglected during this busy time.
The coronavirus situation has left us all wondering when we will be able to come out of this global pandemic. Let’s be assured that although we don’t have a set time frame, it will eventually pass. In the meantime, we need to reorganize our work, business and families accordingly. To make this a little easier, I have decided to share with you the power of the Vision Board. A vision board is a reflection of your thoughts, dreams and aspirations. It is made up of images that best reflect your goals and desires.
Let’s get started:
- Get a cork board or big sheet of construction paper, pin and scotch tape.
- Gather lots of magazines, quotes or advertisements.
- A pair of scissors.
- Go with your instinct when you decide which picture to cut and post on your board.
- You create a law of attraction by posting things you like on your vision board.
- Visit your board every month – as you continue to live your life, change up your goals based on what you hope to achieve and your vision for the future.
- Do it and see the magic; see how your life transforms and how your visions turn into reality.
If you already have a Vision Board, you must bring it to use now. Clean it and fill it with new goals for yourself.
By reassessing and organizing what has already been accomplished, I pinned new goals for the future on my Vision Board. I quickly realized how much my goals have changed during this time. I wasn’t looking at the same old images, they were a lot different. Instead of arguing with the result, I recognized how it was taking form and meaning as I continued to place them on my Vision Board. The outcome was meaningful and surprisingly peaceful.
We are living in a special time and we need to realize that there are many different emotions we are going through. I think that this is the perfect time to set out your goals and aspirations for the future.
Our children should also make their own Vision Boards, so that we can learn about where they currently stand and where they want to be or what they aspire to be – you might be surprised by what they post on their boards.
When it is done, look at it, study it, enjoy it and even share it with your near and dear ones. It will give you a sense of purpose and direction. Your vision board is a reflection of your dreams and thoughts. Use it to reach where you want to be.
And don’t forget to send me a picture of your vision board and what you think about it 🙂
