Role Overview:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide vital support to our team, helping ensure smooth and efficient operations. This is a great opportunity to gain practical office administration experience while contributing to a meaningful cause. Key responsibilities include email management, data entry, document organization, and other general administrative tasks.

**This is a hybrid position requiring a commitment of 4–7 flexible hours per week, plus 4–7 monthly video conference meetings via Whereby**


What you’ll do:

  • Manage and organize the CEO’s email inbox
  • Ensure that emails are accessed at least once daily to flag urgent messages, deadlines are met, and that important messages are not missed
  • Respond to emails with Nikole’s guidance (Nikole is fully up to date on all matters and will provide guidance or dictate responses as needed. You will draft and send emails based on her instructions.)
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Support administrative operations that include: Billing follow-ups, Invoice tracking and Renewing subscriptions/services
  • Attend and participate in monthly team meetings (ONCE a month; typically Thursday evenings)
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and contribute to broader team activities as needed


Qualification/Requirements:

  • High level of professional proficiency in English, including strong grammar skills
  • Prior administrative experience (volunteer or professional) *Strongly preferred*
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Time Management Skills
  • High level of discretion, reliability, and trustworthiness
  • Comfortable working independently in a virtual environment
  • Experience using email platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or other Administrative tools
  • Interest in Environmental education and Sustainability is an asset
  • French-English bilingualism is an asset.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Environmental Architect and 3D Designer to help finalize and enhance the 3D blueprint of our pilot sustainable school. In this role, you will work closely with our team to design sustainable and innovative structures that incorporate renewable energy and vertical farming systems. This volunteer position offers the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project, applying your architectural and 3D design expertise to present renders to partners. 

What you’ll do:

  • Create a 3D model of the school in Revit, 3D Max, Lumion, VRay, or equivalent software.
  • Develop high-quality renders for presentations, websites, and social media use.
  • Ensure designs meet environmental standards and project requirements.
  • Assist in finalizing the project and preparing it for submission to partners.
  • Contribute sustainable materials, tools, and construction practices to the project’s completion.


Qualification/Requirements:

  • Educational background in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a similar field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D design, modelling, or virtual architectural development.
  • Ability to work independently from home and collaborate effectively in a virtual team.
  • Proficiency in architectural and rendering software: Revit 25, 3D Max, Lumion, VRay, SketchUp, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD (or equivalents).
  • Knowledge of Canadian building codes, environmental considerations, and sustainable materials.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Architects need OAA License
  • Bonus: Experience creating visually compelling renders for online platforms.


Commitment 

  • Minimum 5–7 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Fundraising Coordinator to support the Fundraising Manager and support the growth of Green Schools Green Future (GSGF). In this role, you will assist with grant writing, fundraising initiatives, and partnership development. This position is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and education who is looking to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in the non-profit sector.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Fundraising Manager in planning and coordinating fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
  • Research and connect with potential partners or sponsors.
  • Organize and oversee major fundraising initiatives and online events.
  • Assist the Fundraising Manager by preparing grant applications, sponsorship proposals, and donor communications.
  • Maintain and track accurate records of fundraising goals and proposals, and provide reports to the Fundraising Manager.
  • Stay updated on trends in fundraising, non-profit management, and environmental education.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and present updates, proposals, and reports either online or in person.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate effectively with team members in a virtual environment.


Qualification/Requirements:

  • Minimum of  1–2 years of experience writing government grants, preferably with NGOs or international organizations.
  • Experience in large-scale fundraising, online event planning, and managing social platform campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • French-English bilingualism is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to research funding opportunities.
  • Ability to prepare and present PowerPoint presentations via in person or virtual

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising and Grants Officer who will be a key player in expanding Green School Green Future (GSGF) funding initiatives and advancing GSGF to the next step. A strong background in grantwriting, fundraising strategies and softwares  along with excellent communication skills with government agencies, sponsors, and corporations.


What you’ll do:

  • Identify and engage potential donors, corporations, governmental organizations, charitable trusts, and sponsors.
  • Prepare compelling grant applications, funding proposals, and support requests tailored to different audiences.
  • Build strong relationships with major donors, companies, future partners, and affiliates and invite them to sponsor, advertise, contribute, and invest 
  • Maintain a database of donor information and fundraising activities
  • Monitor the progress and milestones of major donors/companies, and ensuring their satisfaction with their donation plan
  • Establish and implement online fundraising campaigns to maximize our online exposure. 
  • Track applications and follow up to ensure fundraising targets are met.
  • Research fundraising opportunities, raise awareness, and suggest ways to improve the organization’s work.
  • Manage gifts and donations using CRMs and databases such as Raiser’s Edge.
  • Follow up regularly with Nikole on your efforts and progress


Qualification/Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in high-level fundraising and/or grant writing.
  • Knowledge of the charitable sector and fundraising for a cause is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, donor databases (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce), and other relevant software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and concise proposals.
  • French-English bilingualism is an asset.
  • Ability to manage budgets, communicate with the CEO and financial team, and meet fundraising targets.
  • Experience in research and devising strategies to secure opportunities and donations consistently.
  • Ability to manage relationships with donors, sponsors, partners, and volunteers effectively. Skilled at explaining our cause in every interaction with all necessary details and dedication.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.

As a part of this role, you will design graphics for fundraising campaigns, newsletters, and help optimize website performance, user experience, and functionality. You will implement SEO strategies, enhance accessibility, and integrate analytics, eCommerce, and digital engagement tools. Your work will create an engaging online presence that supports our sustainability mission.


What you’ll do:

  • Update, maintain, and improve the Green Schools Green Future website (WordPress/Elementor).

  • Support the development and launch of the Win Green Online platform.

  • Create graphics for fundraising campaigns and newsletters

  • Ensure websites are user-friendly, visually engaging, and optimized for performance.

We are a non-profit organization focused on developing a sustainable green school building in Ontario, Canada. We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee the engineering and architectural plans and lead the initial evaluation of the project for grant applications.


Key Responsibilities
:

  • Oversee and coordinate engineering and architectural plans for the green school project
  • Conduct initial evaluations to define project scope and objectives
