Farmesa: Chipotle’s Innovative Casual Dining Experience

Chipotle announced plans to open a new restaurant, Farmesa, in Santa Monica, CA. Developed by the company’s New Ventures team, this casual dining place will serve fresh protein, greens, grains, and toppings in bowls. The menu includes a steak bowl, salmon bowl, cauliflower bowl, and more. There will also be organic, non-GMO, and all-natural drink options.

With Farmesa, Chipotle is aiming to promote healthy eating with quality ingredients. As customers grow more health-conscious, companies must adapt to satisfy their needs and align with their values.

Customers will order through kiosks at the restaurant. They can also place orders with UberEats and DoorDash.

This isn’t the first time Chipotle has tried a new store concept. In 2020, it opened Chipotle Digital Kitchen, the company’s first digital store, to reach customers in more locations. Last October, Chipotle introduced a robot named Chippy that makes tortilla chips.

Farmesa’s soft launch will feature a small menu and limited hours before a full roll-out.
