Visual Capitalist has created a chart breaking down which countries have the biggest share of the world’s top 100 universities. The numbers come from the 2024 World University Rankings, obtained from Times Higher Education.

How Universities are Ranked

The Times’ top 100 measures universities on 18 performance indicators. These include teaching quality, research resources, research quality, industry, and international outlook.
