It was named\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visualcapitalist.com\/most-popular-visualizations-voronoi-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Visual of the Year<\/a>\u00a0out of over 3,000 visualizations posted on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voronoiapp.com\/posts\/most-popular\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Voronoi<\/a>\u00a0in 2024.<\/p><p>The visual is based on research by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/h20195.www2.hp.com\/v2\/getpdf.aspx\/c05117791.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">HP<\/a>\u00a0and assumes a 1.7-kilogram notebook. Every sphere is sized according to the mass of the material and the corresponding material density.<\/p><p>In order to organize and simplify the graphic, Toon put together different types of glass and different types of plastic under their respective category headers. He also deconstructed lithium cobalt oxide to separately visualize lithium and cobalt.<\/p><h3><b>Notebook Material Content<\/b><\/h3><p>Laptops are composed of a variety of materials that serve specific functions and contribute to their overall performance and durability.<\/p><p>By mass,\u00a0<b>magnesium<\/b>\u00a0(22.7%) is the most used material in laptops.
