For instance, 25% of the skills required in Brazil’s food and beverage sector are now green, and in the creative industries, 17% of the skills fall into this category (World Bank, 2024).<\/p>

The green transition is estimated to generate around 100 million new jobs worldwide, <\/strong>with India alone expected to add approximately 35 million green jobs by 2047. These positions are increasing in number, and workers in green jobs are earning significantly more. In South Asia, for example, those working in green roles earn 31% more<\/strong> than their counterparts in non-green sectors (World Bank, 2024).<\/p>
