We are looking for a skilled Project Manager<\/strong> to oversee the engineering and architectural plans and lead the initial evaluation of the project for grant applications.<\/p>

                                                            Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

                                                            • Oversee and coordinate engineering and architectural plans for the green school project<\/li>
                                                            • Conduct initial evaluations to define project scope and objectives<\/li>
                                                            • Provide insights and suggestions to enhance project development and sustainability features<\/li>
                                                            • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with green building standards and LEED<\/li>

                                                                We are searching for a passionate and motivated Treasurer <\/strong>to join the Board of Directors and support the growth of Green Schools Green Future (GSGF). As a Treasurer, you\u2019ll play a key role in overseeing all the financial aspects of GSGF and guiding the Board of Directors in making responsible fiscal decisions.<\/p>

                                                                This role is ideal for an experienced finance \/ accounting professional who wants to help GSGF accomplish their mission to build the first Green School in Ontario!<\/p>

                                                                Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

                                                                • Create and maintain financial statements based on bank account records and other financial sources<\/li>
                                                                • Present annual and monthly financial reports at Board meetings as required<\/li>
                                                                • Work with the Accounting Assistant and Accountant to ensure the financial records are maintained, accurate and ready to submit for tax filings<\/li>
                                                                • Provide financial information and budgets as needed for grant applications<\/li>
                                                                • Collaborate with the Advisory Board and CEO to ensure that the financial planning is in line with organizational goals<\/li>
                                                                • Ensure that the organization stays in compliance with all financial regulations, as well as legal requirements and reporting obligations unique to charity foundations<\/li>
                                                                • Participate in Board meetings, and in other meetings as needed<\/li><\/ul>

                                                                  Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>

                                                                  • Strong background in accounting, finance, or related fields with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and financial management<\/li>
                                                                  • Experience working or volunteering in a non-profit Board of Directors as a Treasurer or similar roles is strongly preferred<\/li>
                                                                  • CPA \/ CFA designation is an asset<\/li>
                                                                  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail<\/li>
                                                                  • Strong communication, teamwork and problem solving skills<\/li>
                                                                  • Interested in environmental sustainability and education<\/li><\/ul>
